We offer two type mechanisms for contract use.  The Classic Square contract sleeper unit is our standard, this is quoted on all our sleepers.   Leggett & Platt has introduced a new mechanism, the Classic Pro contract sleeper unit.  There is an up-charge for this mechanism. 

The Classic Square contract sleeper program was designed to meet the rigid requirements of today's contract market.   The main features this unit has to offer are the body support tubes and wires are built for Heavy Duty use, and engineered with low profile linkage.

The structural integrity as well as the numerous functional benefits of the Classic Square unit have met a series of detailed test standards to ensure a high level of performance in the field.

The Classic Pro unit features all the above, with more helical spring at the foot and on the sides, rating this unit the best on the market today.  There is an up-charge on this unit.   Some features are:

SEATING: Each unit's seating system is evaluated for overall comfort and support utilizing Load Deflection Analysis and durability cycle tests. Seat punch analysis is also used to ensure that the unit will maintain its comfort after years of service.

SLEEPING: The tubular construction and helically suspended polypropylene deck are designed to meet both support and durability standards for commercial applications. Rollator tests are used to simulate heavy duty use and to evaluate the overall support of the unit in the sleeping position. Load deflection tests are performed to gauge the sleeping characteristics of each product series.

OPERATION: The increased use of dual purpose sleep systems requires that each unit function in a smooth, easy to operate manner on a consistent basis. Operating cycle tests are conducted to evaluate opening and closing force as well as compression resistance in the first fold position. In addition, complete unit cycle testing is conducted to simulate years of nightly use.
